This Oil Cleanser can be used daily on some skin types, but for most Laurel suggests it be used as a weekly or bi-weekly deep cleansing ritual.
Dispense 3-4 pumps onto fingertips and apply to dry skin. Massage well for 1-5 minutes around congested areas and makeup. Apply a warm, steamy towel to the skin and gently wipe away dirt, makeup, and excess oil. Repeat towel compressions on the face, neck and chest 1-2 more times to stimulate deeper cleansing pathways, relieve muscular tension, and to ensure complete removal.
This product may be too stimulating for those with a compromised or damaged skin barrier.
Store this product in a cool, dry and dark place. Use within 6 months of opening and within 18 months from the manufacture date, which is listed on the bottom of the bottle.
Laurel Says: I like to use this cleanser 2x per week as a deep pore cleansing and lymph moving treatment. I always use warm towel removal, and after my first towel removal, I then switch to warm towel compressing which I repeat at least twice. Warm towel compressing is exactly what it sounds like: pressing a warm towel into the skin, which stimulates circulation, lymphatic flow, and deep connective tissue release. The compressing is incredibly valuable to me personally, because it plays a large roll in reducing my own lymphatic stagnation and ongoing neck and headaches. This product, combined with the compressing technique, has dramatically reduced my own cystic acne and facial lymphedema.

Science: Did you know that when it comes to oil cleansers, which oils chosen are key to its cleansing success? Each oil Laurel uses was specifically chosen due to the size and shape of its molecular fatty acid chain, which is meant to give the perfect deep pore cleanse. When oil molecules are too large they cannot pull debris from pores as deeply. When oil molecules are too small (like with facial oils and serums) they absorb too rapidly to cleanse and don’t massage easily. The oils chosen for Deep Clarity are a perfect combination for clearing pore debris and removing makeup. I like to think of this cleanser like ‘Oil Pulling’ for your skin.
