After 6 incredible years in business I have made the very difficult decision to close down The Clean Beauty Box.
As of June 1st we will begin shutting down operations and hosting an epic clean beauty sale. During this time we will be fully available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. We are still here for you.
Please see the note down below for how this will affect your membership and any boxes you’ve yet to receive.
There are many reasons that went into this decision, but after a long and tumultuous year I am searching for more balance in my life and time with my family. I know I’m not the only mother/entrepreneur/human going through these feelings right now.
This business started as just an idea around the new concept of “clean beauty” back in 2015. Consumers were starting to demand better beauty. The iconic brands we know and love today were emerging and carving out their space. My goal was to make finding the best products easy and affordable. My small idea turned into a subscription box, an online store, an amazing team, and an incredible community. Without you we wouldn’t have made it past month two.
I have been consistently blown away by your unwavering support. I can’t express how much it has meant to me over the years to see you share and champion The Clean Beauty Box. After spending 6 years in this special community I will never be the same again. My gratitude is immeasurable. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such a personal moment in each of your days and for sharing in my love for all things clean beauty.
Over the years our small team has never exceeded 3 people and I’m still in awe of what we were able to achieve with a lot of hard work, grit and perseverance. I’m endlessly grateful for my Clean Beauty Box team-turned family. We have seen each other become mothers, supported each other through rough times and though none of us have ever lived in the same location these women have become some of the most special people in my life.
We had planned to end our 6 years with a final box in June, but unfortunately at the last minute our planned box unexpectedly fell through, and we were not able to make this happen for you. I’m sincerely sorry if this feels abrupt, especially to any of our new subscribers. We would not have continued with new sign-ups if we had known there would not be another box.

I’m feeling many emotions, but above all thankful to all of you who have joined me on this incredible journey.
There is no need for you to take any action. Your subscription will be automatically cancelled and will not renew.
If you still had remaining pre-paid boxes that have not shipped, we have refunded the cost of these back to your payment method on file with us. Refunds typically come through quite quickly, but please note that it can sometimes take 5-10 business days for this to be reflected in your account. If the card on file is no longer active, your bank or credit card company should automatically redirect this to your current account as long as you are still with the same institution. If you did not receive an email confirming that your refund was processed, please reach out to us at email@example.com so that we can assist you.
Our discounts moving forward will be a higher value than your 15% subscriber discount. We'll send out emails and announce any future promotions on our Instagram as we work through our remaining inventory, so keep an eye out!
We are sincerely sorry if this felt abrupt. This was very sudden for us as well, and we did plan to end our 6 years with a final box in June. Unfortunately, at the last minute our planned box unexpectedly fell through, and we were not able to make this happen for you. Our intention is always to be as transparent as possible, and we would have handled new sign-ups differently if we had realized we would not have another box for you.
