Inspired by the Japanese traditional method of Furoshiki which is typically used to wrap clothing and gifts. This is the ultimate reusable gift wrap. We partnered with one of our favorite print artists, Zoe Wodarz to create 3 custom printed squares that can be easily folded and tied to create a chic, eco-friendly wrapped gift. We also love to use them as a bandana masks, to bundle a wine bottle, as a little lunch tote, or wear as a scarf. The options are limitless.
Instructions and ideas for tying included.
1. Lay out your gift on the diagonal of your fabric, print side down. The fabric should look like a diamond and your gift should be square to you.
2. Take the top and bottom diagonal corners and fold them over the gift. If the gift is on the smaller side you can place the gift closer to the bottom corner and roll upwards until the gift is wrapped in a fabric "tube".
3. Take the remaining two corners at the sides and knot them on top of the gift, tucking in an extra fabric from the sides.
Machine wash cold, with like colors. Lay flat to dry or tumble dry low/delicate. Use a warm iron to eliminate any wrinkles or go with the casual look of a washed and loved fabric.
